So, this started out as a fanart of the Great Red from Dungeons and Dragons' 3.5 edition Monster manual. Except, since I don't have the book, I had to get a pic of the web. Which was really crap. So all I could use was the basic pose, and the face. So I get stuck....
Then I read the clan books for Vampire:The Masquerade and I spot, wait for it... a Tzimisce!!
So I figure fleshcrafting vampires...would have as pets....Flesh Dragons!!
So 30 something hours later (did some more touching up...) I finally have it up.
My favourite part is the rib cage...on the outside!
Planning to do some more dragons. Shadow dragon, smoke dragon, fire dragon, ice dragon and so forth. Any suggestions welcome.
Oh, and please critisize the picture!!!!!! Thankew.
Great work! and one of the best dragon head i've ever seen!
you encourage critics so... maybe shoulder muscles seem a little too flat...
but never mind, that just great!
Bye!

I love the spikes down the spine esp over the head (fudge forgot what they called but u know what I mean) umm wings look a little flat - but I am busy drawing a tifling and am battling with the wings myself so thats the only reason I noticed. But freaken awesome pic!!!
If u want a dragon challange try drawing a dragon spirit, or crystal dragon - transparent and reflective scales are a B!@$^ to draw

The wings have been fixed, but the scanning process is such a bi*** to do with my current hardware, I might only update it a bit later.
Crystal dragon already in progress
Don't expect it soon though...
